The manifesto
Each pillar applies to Studio, Lab — or both.
People first
Before the tool or the deliverable comes the person: a face, a team, an audience. Everything else follows.
Photography and training: two crafts, one starting point. Not the process first, not the camera. Start with the people involved, what they carry and what is at stake. Without that, even the best file, tool or plan loses its meaning.
If it does not serve people, it is not a SETH project.

Reveal, don’t correct
In photography and training alike: not a more acceptable version, but what is already there, made clear.
No airbrushed skin, no restaged scenes, no polished deck that hides reality. See clearly and pass it on faithfully. Correcting flatters. Revealing honours.
A real face is worth more than any retouching.
Enhance, not replace
AI speeds things up, clarifies and lightens the load. It does not take away judgement, taste or responsibility.
See, Enhance & Transform Humans: enhance, never replace. Tools stay in the hands of the people who decide. Data, rights and dependency are addressed before the first prompt. A practice you keep — not a provider you can no longer do without.
A copilot, not a substitute.
There are no small moments
A local match, a rehearsal, a first committee of the season: the moment belongs to the people living it.
The same care everywhere. No hierarchy between a premiere and a company party, between a match and a rehearsal. Be there when it happens and give it back faithfully.
There are only great moments.
Teach to set people free
Training is not about creating dependency. It is about giving people enough method to continue on their own.
Workshop or programme: we work on your documents. Your tools remain yours. At the end, you have a written method you can pass on. Support can stop. The knowledge stays.
Training succeeds when it is no longer needed.
Connect
Studio and Lab are not two shop windows. They are two ways of connecting people with what they already carry.
Photograph a team, train a leader: the same gesture. Make visible what connects. SETH is not a collection of separate services. It is one line.
The connection is the real deliverable.

Value first
Start with what the project brings to people. When the value is clear, the rest follows.
No service for the sake of filling a catalogue. A quote sets out the scope, price and deliverables. If it brings no measurable value to the people involved, we do not do it.
Usefulness first. The rest follows.
